Rob Simonelli has been a Fitness Professional for the past 17 years and is certified with the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) as a Health Fitness Specialist (HFS).
Rob Simonelli has been a Fitness Professional for the past 17 years and is certified with the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) as a Health Fitness Specialist (HFS). Additionally, Rob is certified with the National Strength and Conditioning Association as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS).
Recently, Rob has completed the prestigious Resistance Training Specialist course (RTS123). Rob earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from the University of Tennessee where he served as a student Strength and Conditioning Coach for the University’s Athletic Department.
He continued on to the Master’s of Education program at the University of Wyoming where he studied Sports Administration and served as Graduate Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach.
Rob accepted a position at the University of Miami as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach and relocated back to his home in south Florida. Later, he accepted a position at the Evert Tennis Academy in Boca Raton as the Strength and Conditioning Coordinator.
Rob’s passion grew to focus on pursuing his own business as a Personal Trainer and began a career at Lifetime Boca Athletic Club, where he remained for ten years. Throughout his career at Lifetime, Rob trained Professional Athletes including NHL and NFL players. He has achieved multiple awards and national recognition as Trainer of the Year and the Revenue Achievement Award.
Recently, Rob held the Regional Training Specialist position at Lifetime fitness where he oversaw the development of his personal training colleagues. Most recently, Rob has distinguished himself as a national level fitness presenter and is also a published author of numerous fitness industry articles.
Rob’s goals for his clients are to achieve previously unattainable levels of fitness quickly and safely, while continuing to be a resource for clients past and present. Currently, Rob works in Florida as a partner of Orange Theory Fitness.
